Awesome chain mail, durable, riveted, no rings fell off. Oil is perfect, not too greasy. Blackened mild steel looks authentic, feels great, heavy, will last a long time.
I did some modifications on the chainmail shirt, my arms were a bit too long for the sewen on gauntlets so I seperated those. The leatherwork edging is holding up well after a year and significantly adds to the longevity and comfort of use. Very much appreicate the attention to detail that was put in on this great piece.
Hey! I used the chain and it's AWESOME. Heavy - well constructed - and well oiled. However - The sleeves were "wizard sleeves" and hang really far and wide - which I didn't want. So I have to find a way to cut about 5 inches off the sleeves. I didn't email you guys about it because I probably didn't mention it good enough - but I couldn't wear it while I was fighting beacause there was so much excess chain around my arms that I couldn't get on my gauntlets or my elbow protection over the bunches of chain. For the future for you guys - I strongly recommend that you Don't make chain that has massive wide sleeves - long sleeves are great - but the wide sleeves make your chain totally unusable. I have to cut off about 5 inches off the width of the sleeves and re-ring it. I'd send it to you guys and hire you to fix it but I am wary of the shipping costs.
