Description

This Gambeson replicates a 15th  century garment worn for protection alone or with chainmail but is representative of Gambesons worn by archers over a wide time span. This style has a scalloped helm, covered button with semi-open armpits, providing mobility and ventilation without over-compromising protection. Crafted in heavy-duty padded cotton with excellent blow-absorbing properties.

Ordered from south France october the 2nd, received from north India october 11 which is about 7000 km, couldn't have be faster....
The quality is "all the best" except one detail : the buttons, they are made of two parts, one stitched to the gambeson and the padded part .
I found two of them loose into the package and I'm afraid the others are going to say good by soon ...
Could have you be able to improve this point (see Angela Hopton's review) I would have be happy to grant you five stars !!!
