Medieval English Knight Closed Helmet Made of 14 Gauge Steel

Made from 14 Gauge steel, this knightly Close Helm is well-articulated with swivel-rivets; the pivoting grill-visor can be raised vertically and the front and back half of the helm can be opened to allow it to be easily fitted over the head. The plates protecting the neck are articulated as well so as to not restrict the movement of the neck. The grill protecting the face on the visor is stoutly riveted into place.

A product of the late Medieval and early Renaissance, the Close Helm shares an appearance that is, at a glance, quite similar to the Armet. The notable difference between the two is that the front half of the Armet opens laterally when fitting it to the head, whereas the front half of the close-helm opens vertically. Standard Adult Size fully wearable.
